Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis, providing care in our Outpatient services (Partial Hospitalization Program [PHP] and Intensive Outpatient Program [IOP]). We are looking for a passionate healthcare provider who is dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric care to patients, including those with substance abuse treatment needs.

Our PHP and IOP programs are supported by a multidisciplinary treatment team of experienced professionals and physicians committed to excellence in patient care.

 

Position Overview: As a PMHNP or Psychiatric PA, you will provide expert psychiatric care in both PHP and IOP settings, with the possibility of expanding to a full-time role by adding inpatient work (admissions, daily care, and treatment team collaboration). This position offers a highly supportive environment with strong clinical and administrative backing from our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric care in the PHP and IOP programs
  • Option to expand to full-time with inpatient responsibilities, including admission evaluations and daily patient care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals and physicians
  • Offer care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues
  • Work in a collegial environment with ample support for both clinical and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified PMHNP or Psychiatric PA required
  • Licensed to practice in Ohio or ability to obtain Ohio licensure
  • Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred
  • Experience in treating patients with substance abuse issues is a plus
  • Must meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers
