Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Otolaryngology | Work Directly with Surgeons

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Otolaryngology team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with surgeons, assisting in both clinic-based procedures and patient care coordination.

Position Overview:

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, documenting verbal or telephone orders and progress notes in the clinic EMR.
• Conduct nursing assessments for new admissions and established patients.
• Perform in-clinic procedures, nursing interventions, and provide patient education in alignment with the medical plan of care.
• Utilize a strong foundation in otolaryngology to support patient care.
• Maintain professional communication with surgeons, patients, families, and medical staff.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year of hospital or clinic-based Nurse Practitioner experience
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Missouri Registered Professional Nurse
  • Current Missouri APRN status
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
