Family Nurse Practitioner - Comprehensive Healthcare in Huntsville, AL

We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative healthcare team, providing acute and chronic primary healthcare services to patients, including those living with HIV. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality medical care to adolescent and adult patients, including LGBTQI+ community
• Manage medical conditions such as HIV, Hepatitis C, and STIs
• Utilize Evidence-Based Medicine for diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure timely review of diagnostic test results and specialty consultations
• Document patient data accurately in EMR
• Collaborate with providers and staff to enhance evidence-based practice
• Provide telemedicine services within regulatory scope
• Participate in quality improvement projects and peer review activities
• Educate patients, staff, and community on health interventions
• Comply with agency standards and assist in precepting students

Requirements:

• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Alabama
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience
• Active BLS certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eClinical Works
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws and commitment to patient privacy
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to organize work assignments and coordinate care
