Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Position in Plano, TX

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Plano, TX. Position Highlights:

• Join an established and successful practice that has served women in Plano and the surrounding area for over 20 years
• Practice team consists of 7 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner along with a great support staff.
• This is a clinic only position and does not require any hospital, call, nights, or weekends.
• Nurse practitioner will work with patients along with the physician team and will assist with the management of the office when the physicians may be out for deliveries, surgeries, or vacation.
• Duties include seeing primarily gynecology patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications.
• Will assist physician with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, TX.
• Prefer someone who has 1 year or more of experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
