Opportunity Overview

•   Candidates with 1-2 years of IP Acute Care or Surgical experience preferred

1. Join a group of 6 surgeons based at our Braselton hospital campus

• This is an inpatient/outpatient non-surgical role
• 4 x 10 schedule (7a - 5p) and 1:3 weekend coverage
• EMR Platform (both IP and OP) is Epic
• Performs Inpatient Rounding and Consults
• Functions as a three-person team of APPs (also works with Residents)
• Performs minor procedures
• Initiates admission/discharge of patients and referrals as needed
• Evaluates patient’s progress and implements revised plan of care
• Provides patient education, guidance and counseling for both individuals and families

1. Demonstrates patient advocacy that ensures the patient’s right to privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent
