Job Summary:
The Sarah Cannon Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, TN, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join four physicians and one APP. About the Opportunity:
- Collaboratively manage patients under the general supervision of the attending physician, on a fast-paced pediatric hematology/oncology/transplant inpatient service
- Lead family-centered multidisciplinary rounds and manage daily care, admissions, and discharges on the inpatient pediatric myelosuppression unit
- Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures with instillation of intrathecal chemotherapy and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies
- Participate in quality improvement and committees
- Follow evidence-based practice/SOPs/FACT requirements
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. This is primarily an inpatient position with opportunity for occasional outpatient coverage.
- No overnight or weekend call required.
Qualified Candidates:
- Experience as a pediatric advanced practice provider is preferred, but not required
- Bone Marrow Transplant or Heme Onc experience is preferred, but not required
- Pediatric acute care certification is preferred

About The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial:
- 25-bed pediatric unit (private suites), 10-bed PICU, and 60-NICU Level III (including overflow)
- Currently functioning as a 101-bed facility with room to expand
- 24/7 Pediatric ED staffed by PEM physicians with great support staff including metabolic testing/infusion nurse, full-time dieticians and diabetes educators
