Electrophysiology, NP or PA, Saint Cloud, MN

As an Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider, you will be a crucial part of our award-winning Heart & Vascular Center and the Saint Cloud Hospital. This full spectrum position allows you to practice in our clinic, St. Cloud Hospital and EP Lab!

Schedule and Position Information:

• Full Time (1.0 FTE)
• Weekdays
• Every 7^th Weekend
• Hospital, procedure, and clinic assignments

To be eligible for this position you must meet one of the following requirements;

• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Current Minnesota Physician Assistant Licensure
• New Grads are encouraged to apply, must be eligible for certification (NP/CNP) or licensure (PA) within the next 6 months
• In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.

Preferred experience in:

• Cardiology
• Electrophysiology
• Critical Care
• And/or Emergency Room

Electrophysiology Labs

• Our program has three specialized electrophysiology labs with the newest imaging and mapping systems.
• Electrophysiologists perform complex mapping, ablations and pacemaker, defibrillator, heart failure device and loop recorder placement.
• The electrophysiology lab at CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center has received accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), making it the first in Minnesota and seventh in the world to earn this recognition.

Pacemaker & ICD Clinic

• Our program is one of the largest in Minnesota
• They assure devices work correctly, optimize device settings to best meet your needs and assess the life of devices.
• They perform device-monitoring evaluations through remote (home) or in-clinic (in person) visits.
• The clinic provides services to several outreach sites.

Atrial Fibrillation Management Program

• This program helps providers manage Afib symptoms and prevent stroke and heart failure.
• The care team evaluates and develops treatment plans and monitors the ongoing effectiveness of the plan.

In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
