About this role: 

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in General Surgery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.? In this role you will work with Dr. Milda Shaprio, Dr. Martin Asplund, Dr. William Peugh, and Dr. Robert Patterson to provide care for and treat patients with simple and complex diseases of the abdomen and breast.  You will have a chance to practice at the top of your license seeing new patients, caring for patients perioperatively, assisting in the OR, and seeing patients in postop care as well as supporting the surgeons with their ER call.

• This position includes up to?$7,500 in relocation assistance
• You will practice at the American Fork Hospital campus in American Fork, Utah 
• You will first assist in the OR and provide inpatient services for hospital inpatients, as needed.  
• You will see clinic patients (both in person and virtual visits) and will work to build a team-based practice.  
• You will help with teaching, as you and the surgeons see fit.

What you’ll bring: 

•    APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 
•    AANP or AAPA Certification
•    Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
•    Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 
•     2-4 years of experience as a surgical APP, strongly preferred. 
•    BLS, ACLS certification and DEA
•    Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
