Job Summary:

• Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree and proper certification.
• Have license to practice in the state of Colorado, or the ability to obtain before hire.
• DEA license and prescriptive authority in Colorado, or ability to obtain before hire.
• Prefer candidate with the ability to treat adult and pediatric population if possible.
• APP function: Assist in the treatment of Burn Surgery, Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, and Hand Surgery patients.
• Job duties include evaluation and management of patients in outpatient clinic setting both independently and in coordination with surgeon. Assist and perform necessary procedures within the clinic setting.
• Outpatient clinical experience as an APP preferred, though exceptional new grads may be considered. Exposure to burn care, plastic surgery, wound management, hand surgery, or dermatology preferred. Urgent care and emergency medicine experience also beneficial.
• Looking for a highly motivate and energetic PA/NP with good teamwork skills. APP must have the ability to work in a fast paced and busy practice. Ability to lead, and create an environment of growth and development for all staff members is important.
• 40 hrs. per week, M-F, No-Call Coverage

• The HCA HealthONE Swedish Burn and Reconstructive Center offers the only Level I Trauma Center with a dedicated burn unit in the South Metro Denver area, treating pediatric and adult patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The Swedish Burn and Reconstructive Center is a nationally certified burn center by the American Burn Association.
• The center combines 24/7 surgical care, a dedicated inpatient Burn ICU, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and an outpatient clinic. Our highly experienced team of surgeons, APPs, and staff work with each patient to create a customized treatment plan for their unique needs.
