Our affiliated practice, Aventura OB/GYN Associates, is seeking an Experienced Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join their practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  As a leading OB/GYN practice, we are committed to providing exceptional care for women at every stage of life.  The ideal candidate will be certified, highly skilled CNM with a passion for supporting women though pregnancy, labor and postpartum care.  

Position Highlights:

• The practice has a team of 5 physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners
• Managable OB Volume of 20-30 deliveries per month
• Combination of office and call
• 10-15 call days per month; call is taken from the comfort of your home!
• Deliveries are performed at Memorial Regional Hospital part of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, FL
• Full support of in-house OB Hospitalists and midwives at Memorial Regional
• Full Scope with an average daily patient census of 18-20

Requirements:

• Two years of full-time experience as a CNM is required
• First assist is preferred
• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife 
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license

• CPR and NALS Certification

• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
