Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Provide care to patients of all ages - children to geriatrics
- Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care
- Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions
- Manages all inpatient care and provides prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice)
- Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER
- Employing quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes
- Three 12 hour shifts per week

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care specialty care family medicine 3D mammography orthopedics neurology and several other health services to our Williston community.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program
- will have Emergency Room or Inpatient experience of 1 year or more, required
- board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS certified
- will have the qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted state license and DEA
- interested in a shift-based work schedule
- have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- demonstrate the ability to work independently
- demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing patient demographics and needs
