Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity for New Birthing Center Opening Fall 2025

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive women's healthcare services, emphasizing personalized, patient-centered care throughout the reproductive lifecycle.
• Opportunity to deliver at both local hospital and new birth center.
• Join and collaborate with a collegial, well-respected team including 1 mid-wife, 6 OB/GYNs, Nurses, Lactation Consultants, and Childbirth Educators.
• Practice in the new birth center coming in 2025 that offers women a home-like, low intervention, personalized and natural birth environment.
• Projecting 6 deliveries per month on average at birthing center. 
• Midwives will work 1:1 ratio with birthing assistants.
• Flexible work schedule that can be designed to meet personal and professional needs.
• Rounding and call schedule to ensure work/life balance.
• Inpatients cases and deliveries performed at Blessing Hospital.
• Epic EHR.
• Strong compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing with specialized certification as a Nurse Midwife
• Active RN and CNM licensure in the state
• Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in midwifery
• Demonstrated experience in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong patient advocacy and compassionate care approach

• The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation bonus equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $120,000 - $160,000.
