The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Arizona/ Banner-University Medical Center Tucson is actively recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant to work independently alongside our experienced and dedicated Physicians, making a difference in the lives of the patients you care for. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, consults, providing first assist support in the OR, pre/post-op care, and care coordination with residents, RN’s, case manager and other departments. The PA will also follow up on patient care plan.
Position Requirements and Essential Functions
2+ years’ experience required, preferably in Gynecologic Oncology
Paracentesis and wound care experience a plus
Current Board Certification
Current Arizona License
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
Work Schedule
Full Time (1.0 FTE)
Monday - Friday, no weekends or call!
