VitalSkin Dermatology is seeking a motivated physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our growing team in Creve Coeur, MO, and Des Peres, MO. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while being part of a collaborative team alongside Dr. Joseph Duvall and Dr. Chelsea Schwartz, both board-certified dermatologists. You’ll have access to and oversight from your supervising physicians while also being empowered to provide exceptional care for a diverse and growing patient base.

You’ll work closely with Dr. Duvall and Dr. Schwartz to provide general and cosmetic dermatology services. This full-time position requires professionalism, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset, complemented by the ability to work autonomously when needed. Specific Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general and cosmetic dermatology procedures under physician supervision.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the supervising physician.
- Establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and healthcare personnel while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Demonstrate proficiency and growing autonomy within the scope of general dermatology practice over several months.
- Record patients’ health histories and notes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited PA program or NP-focused graduate master’s or doctoral program.
- Licensure as a PA or NP in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a PA or NP in dermatology.
- Prescriptive authorization and familiarity with medical instruments and equipment relevant to dermatology practice.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare partners.
- Sound understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
- Commitment to continuing medical education to maintain licensure and improve skills.

- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working at a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
