  • Seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float across multiple MD Kids practices
  • Weekday schedule provided in advance
  • A float position allows you the benefit of seeing how the various clinics operate and caring for different patient demographics
  • Our float clinicians help support the other clinicians by filling in for them while out on leave or PTO; allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance all of our clinicians have come to appreciate. 
  • Base Salary + Productivity + Quality + Annual Float Stipend
  • Must have experience working in general pediatrics

Education, Licensure & Certification 

Advanced Practice Provider Requirements:  

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program  
  • Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam  
  • Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.  
  • Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB  
  • Current, unrestricted license in the state of Texas 
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
