Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Sleep Medicine | Tucson, AZ

Join Our Expert Sleep Medicine Team and Make a Difference in Patient Care!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Sleep Medicine program. In this role, you'll play a key part in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a range of sleep disorders, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art sleep center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients with various sleep disorders, such as insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome.
• Manage treatment plans, including CPAP/BiPAP therapy and pharmacological interventions.
• Interpret sleep study results alongside the supervising physician.
• Educate patients on sleep hygiene, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments to improve sleep quality.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Teaching, Academic, and Research Opportunities:

• Contribute to the clinic’s educational initiatives, promoting best practices in Sleep Medicine.
• Optional involvement in cutting-edge research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Potential to teach and mentor residents and fellows pursuing Sleep Medicine training.

Practice Location:

• Main Practice Location: BUMCT, 1625 N Campbell Ave.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs.
• 90% patient contact hours, 10% administrative time for documentation and coordination.

Call Requirements:

• No hospital or practice call requirements.

• APP with experience in Sleep Medicine or Pulmonology preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with board certification
• Strong patient education and communication abilities.
