Nurse Practitioner Position in Wilson, NC

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Wilson, NC. Position Highlights:

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Wilson area for over 30 years.
• Practice team consists of 4 OB/GYN physicians along with a great support staff.
• Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication.
• 4.5 days per week work schedule with no nights, weekends, call, or hospital shifts.
• Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20-30 per day.
• Opportunity for bonuses based on productivity.
• Nurse practitioner will see both obstetrics and gynecology patients. Will also assist with procedures like IUD insertion, Nexplanon insertion, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, I&D of abscesses, and early OB ultrasound.

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred
