Responsibilities

Ascension Saint Thomas is looking for a PRN APP for our Inpatient Behavioral Health Units in our Regional Hospitals.

Position Highlights:

• PRN opportunity 
• Supporting our inpatient program
• Providing Rounding/Call as needed
• Behavioral Health Units at Ascension Saint Thomas Stones River and Highlands Hospitals

• 24-7 Emergency Department staffed by ED certified physicians
• 22-Bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit
• 6-Bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit
• Great community physician support

• Acute Care Floor plus a 14-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit 
• Established Hospitalist Program 
• Emergency Department staffed by ED certified physicians

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
