Join Wake Forest Health Network OBGYN – Asheboro as an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) and be part of a compassionate, team-driven practice delivering exceptional women’s healthcare. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced providers to offer comprehensive OBGYN services, including routine exams, prenatal care, and gynecologic treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess & manage patient care with personalized treatment plans
  • Perform exams, diagnose conditions, & implement effective treatments
  • Educate patients on health maintenance & disease prevention
  • Collaborate closely with physicians & healthcare team members

 

Requirements:

Physician Assistant (PA):

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License & Certified by NCCPA
  • Minimum of one year of experience in OB/GYN or primary care setting (preferred)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required to start
  • Current DEA & DPS registration for prescription writing required to start

 

Nurse Practitioner (NP):

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program (Master’s degree or higher required)
  • Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse & Nurse Practitioner License
  • Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in OB/GYN or primary care setting (preferred)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required to start
  • Current DEA & DPS registration for prescription writing required to start
