OverviewOur affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in McKinney, TX. Position Highlights:
- Join an established and successful practice that has served women in McKinney and the surrounding area for over 20 years
- Full or Part-Time positions available
- This is a clinic only position and does not require any hospital, call, nights, or weekends
- One office location where nurse practitioner will work with patients along with the physician and will assist with the management of the office when the physician is out for deliveries, surgeries, or vacation
- Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication
- Will assist physician with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at Baylor, Scott, and White Hospital in McKinney and Medical City-McKinney Hospital
- Prefer someone who has 6 months to a year of women’s health experience.
Requirements:
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
