Join Our Team: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Mercy Health Heart and Vascular Institute, Tiffin

Mercy Health Heart and Vascular Institute in Tiffin, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our highly productive Cardiology practice. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team, providing care in a growing and dynamic environment.

Position Overview:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 5 days, 8 hours per day
  • Role: The APP will support the cardiology team by seeing follow-up appointments, conducting initial consultations, and rounding on inpatient cases. Additionally, you will assist with ER consults and provide virtual visits when applicable.
  • Team Support: You will have a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to assist with patient care, allowing for a streamlined, supportive workflow.
  • Growing Demand: The practice has seen a consistent increase in inpatient and ER consults, resulting in a growing need for additional provider support. 

Mentorship: You will be supported and mentored by renowned cardiologists Dr. Bruhl and Dr. Ahmad, both committed to fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Previous experience in cardiology or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
