About this role:
The APP will primarily provide care in our outpatient clinic with opportunities to assist in vascular surgeries and round/consult patients in the hospital. The Vascular Surgery Clinic hours are from 7am - 5pm. The APP will be scheduled five days a week from 8am - 5pm, with the potential of four 10-hour shifts per week in the future. No call but may change in the future dependent upon growth rate.
In addition:
You will be accountable for the provision of patient care at the top of licensure, within your scope of practice. Licensed, credentialed and privileged to perform such duties as:
Maintenance and promotion of health and prevention of disease;
Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, correction, and consultation;
Procedures as outlined by specialty, and referral for health problems;
Education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others;
Prescription or administration of prescription drugs or devices in accordance with a consultation and referral plan;
Consultation with other healthcare providers;
Appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care;
Continually learning and developing for optimal patient care and outcomes.

What you’ll bring:
Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Other certification as required (e.g. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP).
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
One or more years of vascular surgery experience
New grads are welcome to apply with the requirement of having a successful vascular surgery rotation
Masters degree or higher.
Applicable certification from a recognized certifying organization such as the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
Applicable experience as defined by position leadership.
