In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Level One Trauma Burn Division is now interviewing collaborative Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our developing program with Banner University Medical Group for inpatient and outpatient patient care, wound changes, and consultations for Burn Surgery patients supervised by the Burn Division attending. This role is based on performing patient consultations, physical examinations, and patient follow-up under physician supervision while working alongside and expanding education for residents, students, and nursing. Under the supervision of the Burn Division attending, the ideal candidate manages the multifaceted requests and pressures in the burn and wound care setting with timeliness, efficiency, and grace. This role sustains the established processes of poly trauma burn patients clinical care (inpatient and outpatient settings) while supporting some research projects and outreach activity (Non-Operative Time). This position is open to experienced and steadfast graduating acute care nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Experience in wound, burn, critical patient care or EMS experience is preferred.
Work Schedule: M-F | 4-Day 10-Hour Shifts (Weekends a possibility in the future)
