Job Summary:
HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to support with an inpatient orthopedic spine clinic.
Qualified Candidates:
- Develop protocols and plans of treatment under physician supervision
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Must be people-oriented and willing to learn
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse patient population
- Expected to work with various patient demographics & medical staff averaging 15-20 consults a week
- Certified nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority required
- Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
- 3 plus years’ experience is preferred and work experience with patients in a hospital setting
- The ability to partner with primary care & emergency medicine providers in the community to educate on clinic capabilities for patients
