CRNA | Shift Based Scheduling at Trinity Health | Minot, ND

As a CRNA at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout various surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical conditions while collaborating closely with surgeons and the healthcare team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs.  
  • Administer and monitor sedation and anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic procedures.  
  • Maintain accurate anesthesia records and ensure a thorough handover of care.  
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth progression of procedures.  
  • Assess and respond to changes in patient conditions during anesthesia administration.  
  • Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and post-operative care.  
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and technologies through ongoing education.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.  
  • Current certification as a CRNA from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).  
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.  
  • Valid registered nurse license in North Dakota, or eligibility to obtain.  
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Special Qualifications:
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).  
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.  
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development in anesthesia care.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
