LOCUMS Family Medicine APP needed in Windsor, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Family Medicine-Windsor are seeking a NP/PA/MD to provide coverage located in Windsor, North Carolina.  Orientation will be scheduled before first shift. The practice is located 20 miles from historic Edenton and 40 miles from Greenville.

Coverage needed - Starting November 5th thru January 1, 2025

Weekly schedule:   4 days/week 0800-1730 – Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday

 Opportunity Highlights include:

  • Hospital privileges required due to department being a part of the hospital but no inpatient requirements 
  • No Call
  • Outpatient only
  • Avg # of patients/day/provider – 24
  • # of Surgical cases per month: 2
  • Experienced clinical support staff includes 7 RNs, 3 NP/PAs, 1 MD
  • 12 exam rooms in use, 3 per provider
  • Practice located inside ECU Bertie Hospital
  • Lab and X-ray onsite
  • No ICU duties
  • LT will not respond to codes
  • LT is not expected to serve as backup in the ER
  • BLS required from AHA
  • EMR – EPIC
  • Required Procedures: EKGs, PFTs, blood draws, urine check, joint injections, pap smears, mole/wart removal, drug screening, ear irrigation, sutures
