Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Tufts Medical Center Community Care is seeking a full time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding team in Melrose, MA. Position will be primarily outpatient based along with inpatient consults and stress testing.

Tufts Medical Center Community Care is affiliated with MelroseWakefield Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, with access to specialist at Tufts Medical Center.

How you’ll transform patient care:

• Develop longitudinal relationships with your patients 

• Work cross-functionally with various members of our community and stake holders 

• Collaborate with a gifted team of physician and nurse practitioner colleagues 

• Minimize your administrative burden through use of RNs and LPNs, fully trained MAs, coders, front desk staff, and dedicated billing specialists

Who you are:

• Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  

• Current certification in CPR required.

• Prior experience in Cardiology preferred.

• A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction and support.

Having to drive into Boston from Framingham for a primary care appointment with a top primary care doctor just isn't worth it sometimes. That's why we've opened the Tufts Medical Center Community Care - Framingham practice, to provide comprehensive primary care services right in the MetroWest community. Our doctors, nurses and administrative staff have one priority and that is to keep our patients as healthy as possible. Focused on wellness, preventative care and treating the whole person, this new practice features ready access to world-class primary care physicians, caring nurses and a dedicated administrative staff.

We recognize that patients seek primary care physician with whom they can develop a trusted relationship.
