Job Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Allergy Department will work under the guidance of the Chief of the department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The PA/NP will conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and diagnostic testing, including skin tests, food challenges, hives, and test conferences. They will also manage both in-person and telemedicine visits, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient records. Additionally, the PA/NP will collaborate with the broader healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with various allergic conditions.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferably in allergy, asthma, immunology, or a related field.
Proficiency in performing and interpreting skin prick tests, spirometry, and other diagnostic allergy tests. Experience in managing allergic conditions such as asthma, food allergies, hives, eczema, allergic rhinitis, and anaphylaxis is preferred.
Education:
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Licenses and Certifications:
Current state license and NCCPA certification.
Active Registered Nurse (RN)
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Certifications: AANP, ANCC, or PNCB
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
