In collaboration with Sky Lakes, OHSU's Cascade East is hiring for a family medicine APP. Cascades East was the second family medicine residency to be developed in Oregon and accepted its first residents in July 1994. Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine administers and sponsors the program. It is a collaboration of OHSU and Sky Lakes Medical Center. The care model consists of four clinical teams with approximately 5 faculty doctors, several OHSU residents, 1-2 APP, and clinical support staff. Candidates will benefit from opportunities to learn procedures and specialize further down the line. Once fully ramped up, providers will typically see 8 patients per half day and about 16 in a full day, with initial volumes set at 4-6 patients per half day. While procedures are not mandatory, physicians and preceptors are available to offer training for those interested. As a residency training facility, this role provides excellent exposure to acute patients, making it an ideal place for learning and professional development
