Nurse Practitioner - Rheumatology - Daytona Beach, FL

We are seeking a Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our established Rheumatology care center in Daytona Beach, FL.

Our care center has 2 Physicians, 8 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite and a highly skilled dedicated team. We specialize in the treatment of Allergies, Asthmas, and Arthritis. Some rheumatologic conditions we treat are Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic and Reactive Arthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, and more.

We believe in a treat-to-target approach in rheumatology and every plan regarding treatment is based on shared decision making with the patient.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
• Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
• Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

• New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine preferred
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent and timely communication skills - verbal, and written
• Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
• Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
• Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner & DEA license
