PracticeMatch is excited to partner with Great River Health to assist SRNAs in their passion and drive to care for others. The Great River Health CRNA Scholarship has been founded in partnership by PracticeMatch and Great River Health to award SRNAs who exhibit community involvement and dedication to caring for others.

his scholarship may help offset the high cost of education for a current SRNA.

To enter, submit your CV and an essay (minimum of 500 words) that shares your personal inspiration for pursuing a medical career in the specialty of anesthesiology, and how you plan to use your training to impact the lives of your patients. The winner of this scholarship will receive $2000 to be put toward their education.

CRITERIA
Scholarship essays will be judged on the writer's ability to express and validate his or her view, following the prompt of the essay topic. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate, and logically organized. Winning essays must meet the minimum of the 500-word requirement.
JUDGES
Leaders from PracticeMatch and Great River Health who have a close appreciation of the value, and impact of healthcare providers in their community and across the nation.

Submissions are due by September 19, 2025. A winner will be announced on October 17, 2025 on our website. The winning essay will be published on our website and our social media pages.

No application is required. Contest is open to residents located in the United States, except where void or prohibited by law.
Essays must be written in English only.
Entrant must be enrolled in a CRNA program at the time of the contest deadline. Verification of enrollment will be required for all winning entrants.
To avoid disqualification, mailed-in essays must include a stapled cover sheet with the following information:
- Your name, address, email address, and phone number
- The name of your residency program or medical school.
- Mailed-in submissions (CV & Essay) must be stapled.
Essay must be no fewer than 500 words in length, double-spaced. Spelling errors and/or written corrections found on the essay will count against the final grade and should be omitted before submission.
One entry per person per contest.
Essay must be submitted online or postmarked by September 19, 2025, no later than 11:59 PM, Pacific standard time.
Judges have the right to provide contest deadline extensions when deemed appropriate.
Essay must be solely the work of the entrant. Plagiarism will result in disqualification. Essays must not infringe on any third-party rights or intellectual property of any person, company or organization. By submitting an essay to this Contest, the entrant agrees to indemnify PracticeMatch and Great River Health for any claim, demand, judgment or other allegation arising from possible violation of someone's trademark, copyright or other legally protected interest in any way in the entrant's essay.
Decisions of the judges are final.
Employees of PracticeMatch, its board of directors and their immediate family members are not eligible for this contest.
Past winners are not eligible for this contest.
On October 17th, 2025, the winner will be notified via email and announced on our website.
The winner is responsible for providing their mailing addresses and other information required by law, including tax ID numbers, in order to receive the prize.
The entrants agree to allow PracticeMatch and Great River Health to post their name and photo, on any of its affiliated websites and to use any data submitted with the entry to build a profile of the entrant on our site.
The first-place essay may be posted in its entirety on any of these websites with full credit given to the author.
The winner will be solely responsible for any federal, state or local taxes.
