Midwest seeking practicing Urgent Care Medical Director!

Methodist Physicians Clinic is seeking a practicing Medical Director of Urgent Care which includes direct patient care shifts. Several locations throughout Omaha, Council Bluffs and Fremont areas. Looking for candidates with Urgent Care and/or Occupational Medicine experience.

Description:

• Oversight of Occupational Medicine services
• Assist with annual performance reviews for APP’s
• Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new advance practice providers
• Conduct chart reviews to ensure appropriate care, documentation, and compliance of MPC and departmental policies.
• Provide orientation, training and mentorship to new Urgent care providers according to departmental policies
• Develop clinical content for training of staff including physicians, APPs and nursing personnel
• Conduct provider meetings on a quarterly basis.
• Develop, implement, and revise policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with urgent care leadership and risk management to address complaints pertaining to Urgent Care services
• Serves as a spokesperson for Urgent Care and maintains relationships with Health System providers
• Collaborate with Physicians Clinic medical director team
