Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a BC/BE Physician committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in an Urgent Care (UC) setting. Clinical expectations include management of acute illness & injuries, sports physicals, and acute occupational medicine injuries and issues, et al.
Additionally, the Urgent Care Medical Director is the leader of the Urgent Care provider group and is involved in all operational needs regarding patient care quality, patient experience, operational standardization, recruitment of Urgent Care Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, chart reviews, ongoing UC provider education and training, and is a participant in urgent care strategy development for the medical group.
The qualified candidate will exude passion about health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong communication skills, leadership and engagement in clinic operations and supporting a team of dedicated providers and colleagues.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity varies; Monday – Sunday, 12-hour shifts; 80 hours per pay period with 0.30 FTE clinical and 0.70 FTE administrative. Urgent Care clinics are on and off campus with 12 locations spanning the Boise Metro area.
