CHIEF OF PEDIATRIC GASTRENTEROLOGY, HEPATOLOGY & NUTURITION
Norton Children’s Gastroenterology and the University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics are seeking a Division and Section Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition to lead our team. The University of Louisville School of Medicine, one of the oldest medical schools west of the Appalachian Mountains, has worked together with Norton Children’s to care for the patients of our region, train the doctors of tomorrow and research and innovate in the field of child health for nearly 100 years.

Our new integrated entity, Norton Children’s Medical Group affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine has, in two short years, recruited well over 100 providers, added four new accredited fellowships, increased outreach throughout our state, and increased NIH, industry sponsored grants, and registry and trial drug network funding through our collaborative research institute, Norton Children’s Research Institute (NCRI).

The GI Division chief will oversee a robust clinical team with varied interests to achieve our mission and vision. The Division Chief will lead and mentor our team in all areas of the mission with support from the department of pediatrics at the University of Louisville, our clinical operations team, our research team, Norton Children’s Research Institute, and our strong Office of Medical Education.

The University of Louisville School of Medicine was founded in 1837, one of the oldest medical schools west of the Appalachian Mountains. In collaboration with the Norton Children's Research Institute, the University of Louisville, supports all provider's research interests. Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the pediatric provider division of Norton Medical Group.
