Baptist Health Medical Center – North Little Rock (BHMC-NLR) is seeking BE/BC
psychiatrist to join the Baptist Health-UAMS Graduate Medical Education Program and
provide care in our new Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. BHMC-NLR is a 225 bed facility and
this new unit will have 22 beds with two psychiatry teaching teams. This exciting
opportunity has the perks of private practice like set up and to serve as a core faculty in
a brand-new residency program. The position is to provide inpatient management,
supervision of psychiatry residents, participation in faculty development opportunities
and teaching resident didactics. This is an employed position with Arkansas Health
Group (AHG), a subsidiary of Baptist Health. AHG provides competitive salaries and
benefit packages as well as medical malpractice insurance. The opportunity may qualify
for a J-1 visa waiver. All physicians must be able to obtain Arkansas licensure before
they begin practicing.
