The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Henry Ford Hospital (HFH), located in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking board eligible/certified neurologists with additional fellowship training in epilepsy to join our multi-disciplinary team.

With nine fellowship-trained neurologists, including two pediatric neurologists, a clinical neuropsychologist, and two neurosurgeons, Henry Ford’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center has over 30 years of experience in the medical and surgical management of epilepsy. Henry Ford’s epilepsy team is one of the largest and most active medically and surgically in the Midwest, offering the most advanced medical and surgical treatment including laser ablation, and neurostimulation implant therapies. Our busy clinical practice completes over 10,000 epilepsy visits and 5,500 EEGs annually. Additionally, HFH has a growing critical care EEG program and 1 of 29 magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain imaging systems in the country.

As an academic program, the HFH Epilepsy Center is active in epilepsy clinical research, and advanced neuroimaging and MEG research.  Additionally, our center participates in clinical trials for neurostimulation implant and stereotactic laser ablation therapies. A proven track record or serious interest in clinical research is favorably considered.

Applicants with a specific interest in clinical practice, EEG, or intra-operative monitoring are welcome to apply.  This subspecialty academic practice position also offers time for educational endeavors, including a teaching role with medical students, neurology residents, and epilepsy fellows.
