Interventional Cardiologist - Central Florida

Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida’s physicians and APPs specialize in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the heart. As we continue to expand our services throughout Central Florida, we are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, and specialized Interventional Cardiologist to work throughout our Central Florida facilities.

Job Details

• Hospital and Clinic Location(s): Ocala and The Villages
• Physician will spend a larger percentage of time in hospital and lab to start and expand in clinic over time.
• General services to include (but not limited to): echo, nuclear, cardiac CT, TEE, cardioversions, stress test, consults, medication management, etc.
• Interventional services to include (but not limited to): specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases of the heart and blood vessels using nonsurgical, catheter-based procedures and specialized imaging techniques. Use of diagnostic techniques, technical procedures and medications to treat abnormalities that impair the function of the cardiovascular system. More complex interventions as needed and per physicians comfort/interest level.
• Monday-Friday schedule w/ call expectations shared with other physicians. Additional APP support during weekend call and weekdays.

Qualifications

• B/C Cardiovascular Medicine, and B/C or B/E in Interventional Cardiology
• Completion from a US Accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine program
• MD or DO (practicing or fellow welcome)
• Board Certified in Nuclear and Echo preferred
• Hard working, patient satisfaction/quality must be front and center.
