Surgical Oncologist - Fargo, ND

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (USA). Sanford Health, an integrated multi-specialty health system is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota.

Practice Details:

• General surgical oncology, with practice options including but not limited to a wide range of malignancies (i.e breast, sarcoma, melanoma, esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, HIPEC, ovarian) and complicated benign hepatobiliary
• Call is shared with 2-3 fellowship trained surgical oncologists
• Integrated practice with the Roger Maris Cancer Center. The Roger Maris Cancer Center is a comprehensive, state of the art cancer center with 14 board certified medical oncologists, 4 pediatric oncologists, 6 radiation oncologists, and RN navigators for most disease sites
• Specialty specific tumor boards
• Many research opportunities with national clinical trials (NCI, NCCOR), well funded institutional research (both basic science and translational) as well as opportunities with affiliated academic institutions (North Dakota State University and University of North Dakota)
• Teaching of general surgery residents and medical students through the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Science
• New medical oncology fellowship and bone marrow transplant program
• Academic appointments at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine are available.
