Benefits Include

Active Duty (Full-Time)
Loan Repayment: Receive up to $250,000 in student loan repayment in
$40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the
lending institution through the Active-Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment
Program (ADHPLRP).
Sign-on Bonus: up to $600,000 signing (accession) bonus plus $43,000
incentive pay annually
Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several overseas including Hawaii,
Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.
Time Off: 30 days paid vacation annually plus over 20 days for federal
holidays and "Days of no Scheduled Activities."
Paid parental leave: for childbirth or adoption!
Practice True Medicine: No malpractice insurance premiums, no overhead

Army Reserve (Part-time)
Specialized Training Assistance: Monthly stipend while enrolled in an
accredited residency program. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen and will serve
in the Army Reserve after completing residency.

your family.
Travel opportunities, to include humanitarian missions.
Flexible retirement plan

Requirements Include:

  • M.D. or D.O. from accredited school in the U.S., District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. FMGs qualify with a permanent certificate from ECFMG. 
  • Unrestricted license to practice neurosurgery in the U.S., District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico (or training license if in residency).
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Reserve Only)
