Since 1918, we have been part of the Central Florida community, growing from a single community hospital into a multi-hospital organization boasting more than 1,750 beds. Today, Orlando Health is a healthcare leader ready and able to care for all of its 640,000 Central Florida neighbors and 4,500 international patients annually. As a community-owned organization, Orlando Health reinvests its profits into many one-of-a-kind, specialized services like Central Florida's only Level One Trauma Center and statutory teaching hospital.

Orlando Health is the only hospital in Central Florida, the third hospital in the state, the 11th healthcare organization and the 18th company in the United States to achieve this designation. In addition, Orlando Health received the third highest score since the award was established in 2000 and is the first organization to receive this designation for a two-year period!
